Christmas Day is one of our favorite days of the year. It is a day that we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a day where we gather with family to create memories that will last a life time. For the second year, Christmas Day is the culmination of an unbelievable adventure in giving. Our 25 Days of Christmas comes to a close as we celebrate with some gifts of love.
This Christmas was different from many years. There was less under the tree and fewer gifts to give this year. Regardless, we had a wonderful Christmas. Each gift that we gave was given with all of our heart. One in particular was a homemade wreath that was given to my mother. This gift was special to me because my mother was here to receive it. She suffered a major heart attack earlier this year and she was close to being called home. Thankfully, the good Lord wasn’t ready for her yet. I cherish every day that she is here. The simple act of giving a Christmas present meant so much more this year.
We have been blessed with a wonderful family. Words cannot explain how much each member of our family means to us. The support, the encouragement, and the endless love that they provide cannot be measured. We are grateful to have each of them in our lives and we cherish the moments we get to spend with them. Especially at Christmas.
