Good neighbors make great neighborhoods. We have been very blessed over the years to live next to wonderful people. Individuals and families that have made a street, and a subdivision, a special place. A sense of community exists when we develop relationships with those around us. Today, we wanted to say thank you to our neighbors. Erica performed her magic in the kitchen and made homemade dog treats for some four-legged friends in our neighborhood. She also created S’mores boxes for the children. We spent some time this afternoon delivering these gifts. We hope that all of the families on our street, and in our neighborhood, have an outstanding Christmas with friends and family. Although we do not say it enough, we truly appreciate their support and enjoy having them as neighbors.
Tomorrow is December 24th. Where has the month gone? It is hard to believe that our 25 Days of Giving is coming to an end. Christmas Eve is a day when we gather with friends and families to celebrate the season. We are going to take some time and deliver some social media shout outs. We hope you too will pause in between gifts and Instagram photos of your food to let others know you are thinking of them through social media. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, it is totally up to you. Just take some time and let others know that you care.
